Q: How do I login with my username?
A: The new version of PlanbookEdu no longer requires a username. Simply use your email to login.

Q: What do I do if I forgot my password?
A: Click here to reset your password.

Q: How do I change my email address or password?
A: Login to your account and click "Account" in the main menu. Then click "Update".

Q: Why is the word processor style editing not appearing?
A: You must be using one of the supported browsers for word processor style editing to work. These include:
- Internet Explorer 5.5+ for Windows
- Mozilla 1.3+, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape 7.1+
- Virtually any other Gecko-based browser

Q: What is the once/weekly option when editing an entry?
A: Once means this entry will appear for this day only.
Weekly means this entry will appear in this period for every week of the school year.
If you wish to change one instance of a weekly entry you may do so by editing that entry, and setting this option to "once". If you change an entry from "Once" to "Weekly" any previous "Weekly" entry will be deleted.

Q: What are the "going forward" and "for all weeks" option when editing an entry?
A: For all weeks applies the changes to for every occurence of this period, back to when the original entry was made. Going forward applies to the changes for only present and future occurences of this period.

Q: How do I bold/italic/underline text?
A: When you click on the box to edit, highlight the text you wish to format. Then click on B, I, or U in the menu.

Q: What are buttons on the edit menu?
A: Size - Change the text size.
- Bold the select text.
- Italicize the select text.
- Underline the select text.
- Adds a horizontal line. This is useful for seperating two sections of an entry.
- Remove all formatting (bold, underline, ...).
- If you copy and paste an entry from a MS Word document extra formatting may be included. Use this option to fix these errors.
- Switch to HTML edit mode. This is not recommended, unless you know what you are doing.

Q: What is the title row?
A: The title row is a row that appears above the day rows and acts as a column header. It can be used as a heading or for any other notes.

Q: What is the "number of periods per day" option?
A: The number of periods determines how many columns appear in your planbook.
